June 27, 2015, Berlin is a river of colours, the colours of the rainbow.
Thousands and thousands of people attended the parade for the Christopher Day.
Music, floats and masks, it’s almost a Carnival, though in reality the concept is the exact opposite: instead of a masquerade the concept is to remove the mask and show themselves, with pride and joy.
This was the Gay Pride in Berlin.
This year was a particularly important Gay Pride: it coincided with the days when the U.S. Supreme Court has officially declared the legal validity of marriages between persons of the same gender, a very important message to the world.
The parade started in Charlottenburg, on the famous Ku’Damm, and stopped in front of the Brandenburger Tor, collecting more and more people (everyone, not just gay!), to become an amazing party.
A celebration day and a fun evening in this Berlin that doesn’t waste any opportunity to be alive, livable and festive!
